He’s got a great ear, a great attitude, great suggestions while mixing, and is willing to put 100% of his talent and knowledge into the mix, and won’t stop until you are happy. Two years on from the excellent double CD release Proto Mundi/Doomsday Vault, Antoine Fafard returns with album number six. Davide was able to bring out every instrument on this recording in an incredible way. That being said, the drums really cut through on the mix but do not bury anything. Doomsday Vault contains eleven remixed tracks from Antoine’s first three albums, plus four previously unreleased pieces, making it a truly BONUS offering.

The albums Sphre, Proto Mundiand Doomsday Vaultwere mixed by Davide Sgualdini at Studio LaMortein Cagliari, Italy. I was already familiar with Davide’s work on an Antoine Fafard album and was very impressed with the overall mix, and of course the tone of the drums. Fafard has recorded in various studios, including Eastcote Studiosand Real World Studios. I worked with Davide on my brother Michael Harris’s album “Chemical Compositions”. 'Doomsday Vault' is the bonus album that comes with the upcoming 'Proto Mundi' album.
